Venice - Punta della Dogana partially uncovered

The restorations of Punta della Dogana should be completed within June 2009, however both rooftop and the perimeter walls are still visible.

There is a lot of curiosity to discover how the building will look like after these works, even if the seventyth century structure will be of course safeguarded.
There will be however some modifications in order to host contemporary works of art of big dimensions; they will also add to the structure a space in a shape of a cube in concrete (which has raise some objections).
The first exhibition will host a collection of François Pinault Foundation.
