These are usually the main directions:
- Rialto: you get there along the Canal Grande.
The journey takes 14 minutes with line number 1 and 10 minutes with line number
82 to the left.
From the boat stop Rialto it takes you less than 10 minutes to walk toPiazza S.Marco
while it takes another 15-20 if you stay on the boat.
- S.Marco: you get there with line number 1 or
with line number 82 along the Canal Grande. The journey takes approximately 30
minutes (35 minutes with line number 1 e 26 with line number 82 to the left which,
however, frequently only goes as far as Rialto).
A piece of advice: you should get off at S.Zaccaria (it's just one more
stop) so you can admire the view of the square from the water.
You can also get to S.Zaccaria with lines number 41-51 and the 82 to the right
(respectively they take 25', 24' and 42') going along the Canale della Giudecca.
- Accademia: you get there along the Canal
Grande with line number 1 and with line number 82 (to the left and not limited
toRialto); it takes about 20 minutes.
- Palazzo Grassi: [boat stop S.Samuele]
you get there along the Canal Grande with line number 82 (to the left and not
limited toRialto); it takes about 20 minutes.
You can also take line number 1[boat stop S.Angelo] (19') but it takes another
five minutes' walk through an intricate maze of streets.
- Giudecca: the fastest line is number 41 and it takes about 17 minutes
to get to the stop "Palanca" but there are another two stops on the Giudecca:
Redentore (20') and Zitelle (23').
- Lido: the fastest line is number 51 (38') and it goes along the Canale
della Giudecca.
