Masterpiece by Andrea Palladio (1577-1592)

Votive temple constructed following request of Senate of the Republic during the plague in 1576.

Classic façade with repeated triangular pediments.
Next to the doorway half columns and niches with statues (St. Mark and St. Francis).

Layout: Latin cross with Corinthian half columns in couples.Vault ceiling.
