FONDACO DEI TEDESCHI Renaissance style - Scarpagnino (1505-1508) on a project by G.Tedesco and G.Spavento. The façade with a portico on the ground floor was originally decorated with frescos by Giorgione and Tiziano. Crenellation at top. Inside there is a large courtyard -today it is covered- with three orders of loggia. Today it is the headquarters of the General Post and Telegraph Office. MAP.
