CA' PESARO

Baroque - B.Longhena andA.Gaspari (1652-1720)

Façade in classic style with two doorways on the ground floor and loggias on the first and second floor.

Construction was interrupted in 1682 following the death of Longhena. The architect Antonio Gaspari completed the third floor and was responsible for the façade along the rio delle due Torri.

In the courtyard there is a wellhead by J.Sansovino.

Today it houses the Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna (International Gallery of Modern Art) (first and second floor) and the Museo d'arte Orientale (Museum of Oriental art) (third floor).
